iTweetLive – the best way to make a confusing interface

I was sent the link to try out iTweetLive which is a web interface with tons of tools.  However using the darn thing was cumbersome, confusing and way too complicated.

After signing in with oAuth, you are greeted with an interface that has paused searches, constant pop-ups asking you to do things for their karma points to use the service.  Apparently if you do not up your karma points they will send sponsored tweets via your account.

They ask you to add RSS feeds, give the Klout +K’s and more.  I felt inundated pretty quick. I had even more pop-ups I ignored that included bit.ly inclusion, giving your email address and more.

The capabilities are good within the interface, but there was no easy way to see the flow.  You could schedule replies, set automatic replies, do advanced searches and add multiple Twitter accounts.

They had excellent screenshots to get you to use the product but no support links and no way I could find to remove my test account.

So in summary this digs you into a black-hole of having to pay for a pro account (which I support on anything developed) or get overwhelmed with popups.  I would prefer they go freemium with limited capabilities for free and upgrade for more.  Oh and fix the UI and make it smoother.
