Yes I write some of those dreaded admin cert exams you take. I won't say which ones so you don't come looking for me, but I will say they are the real good recent ones that have been coming out. Creating a new one would not transfer over your followers, but if you use TwitWipe, it just deletes the tweets and lets you keep your followers and whatnot.
/facepalm.
Posted by Cynicus | February 28, 2013, 2:28 amI think their intention about the followers being deleted was lost due to context of referring to deleting an account. They probably mean deleting your account is NOT what you want to do but should have said it this way to be consistent:
“Creating a new account would create a new user id (the numeric id). It’s going to be a separate, new account. All your followers and followees and flurries would be gone!”
Where “creating a new account” replaces “doing so” and “would” replaces “will”.
English is such a beast of a language sometimes!😀
