EDITOR NOTE: BrightKit changed their name to HootSuite
BrightKit (not to be confused with BrightKite, ugh) is a dashbaord model for multiple Twitter accounts. What makes it different than multiple accounts in Twhirl? Easy, the ability to schedule tweets and see statistics around them (coming soon).
Currently you can add multiple profiles and accounts for free, but it seems that they will have a nominal charge eventually. I can see this tool working well for people that not only have their own personal Twitter account, but also a business account they manage and want one interface. It can also be shared and everyone could see statistics and scheduled tweets.
One thing I did not like was the pop-up for making the tweets themselves. While it is understandable for scheduling a tweet, for making a quick entry it was too much overhead to have these nice pop-ups in all Web 2.0 glory.
Hmm, this could still be useful…
