I needed this service last year! GroupTweet will rebroadcast tweets sent directly to it, so people following can follow and direct tweet to one account name and it reaches everyone. The site gives a great step-by-step layout for how it works and privacy settings.
The basics are easy:
- set up a new account name (as I did for the annual Lotusphere conference)
- decide whether it should be public or private
- have everyone follow this new account
- send d account messages and it will rebroadcast and show for everyone following the account
That makes it easy to get a small group up and running quick and have people follow with approval or in the public eye. Give it a shot and tell them we sent you.
