Tweepi is a collection of scripts for better follower management on Twitter. The tools include:
- Geeky follow – this is just a test tool that attempts to help you filter these people – the geeky way, with numbers in a table – based on their activity and sociability.
- Geeky flush – a tool to quickly unfollow poeple that do not follow you back
- Geeky reciprocate – This tool helps you find all the users that follow you, but you do not follow back, and enables you to follow them back with a click of a button
- Geeky cleanup – filter people that don’t pass links, retweet or do anything of importance but ramble all day
You choose any of the tools to log in. I went for Geeky follow and you need a Twitter name for their tool to scan for. I entered TheSocialGeeks to see what I would get back. You then get an oAuth request to begin processing. Wow I was not ready for this response at all!
On the right side you are presented with numerous options to help filter the responses. From higher follower to following ratios, to people that have tweeted in the last 7 days to comparing response percentages to show actual conversations.
By default it hid users I was already following, a nice touch. Speed mode would also hide most of the stats to make the performance a bit faster, but I was not disappointed.
You could totally customize the columns and then it was off to the races. There is too much more to cover in text, watch the screencast, found here as Episode 7 of TheSocialNetworker.
I have used Tweepi and I loved its interface. Specially Geeky flush feature is what I like the most..
