TwitterAnalyzer allows you to separate the types of tweets your friends send:

I went ahead and entered myself, as usual, and a few of those I follow. As I got into the product I found they have even more tools built in! I seemed to tweet about 10 times a day average, mainly during the working hours. From there is just went on…. Hashtag, link analysis and showing a thumbnail of all pictures the account analyzed were some of the options I found. Then there was:
Choose a friend and the “Social Statistics Analyzer” will show you a detailed graph representing the amount of Social Interaction Tweets this friend has interacted with his friends over the last months, you can also see the entire conversations in order to know whether or not this user matches your expectations from Twitter.
Apparently if you scroll down there is a slew of tools included to analyze your Twitter traffic, friends, followers and content. Pay special attention as the analyzer takes you to the user homepage with some graphs in the middle of the screen. From there, a list is built on the right navigation with tons more information. You can even see what client the account uses to post tweets.
