Troy’s Twitter Script – the ultimate browser extensions

Talk about compilation.  This is how Twitter should behave in a browser with Troy’s Twitter scripts.  He has combined a whole slew of behaviors into one giant script.  Here is a list:

# Nested Replies
# @Mentions
# Custom Search Tabs
# Status – Autocomplete
# Status – Auto Link Compressor
# Auto Pagination
# RT button
# Media Embed ( YouTube, Twitpic, Movapic, Image URLs )
# URL Expansion ( url services supported )
# Hash Tag Search Links
# Social links provided by Google Social Graph ( http://code.google.com/apis/socialgraph/ ) & Twellow ( http://twellow.com )

There is more on the horizon to add in according to the site.  All of this is a Greasemonkey script, so you will need that extension installed from here if you have not already.

Classify Twitter Users With A Greasemonkey Script

The Twitter User Classify script is a Twitter Greasemonkey script that allows you to see a ranking of the profile of Twitter users. The rankings range from:

1:5 = twittercaster
1:2 = notable
1:1 socially healthy
2:1 newbie or social climber
5:1
twitter spammer

The script places a small bar at the top of any Twitter profile (including your own), with a listed scale ranking. The bars are also color-coded based on rank to help you remember what profiles you can safely avoid and which ones might be of interest with just a quick glance.

View Twitter Search Results on Google

What we’re about to review here on EverythingTwitter is a GreaseMonkey Firefox extension. For those that don’t know what GreaseMonkey is:

Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

Hundreds of scripts, for a wide variety of popular sites, are already available at http://userscripts.org.

You can write your own scripts, too. Check out http://wiki.greasespot.net/ to get started.

The Twitter Search results on Google userscript places real-time results from Twitter Search into your Google Search results. Kind of like what the Feedly and the StumbleUpon extensions do.  Check out the screenshot below to get a better idea.

Twitter friends import into FriendFeed

We do tools that enhance or add to Twitter.  This is a great GreaseMonkey script from InternetDucttTape that pulls your subscriptions into FriendFeed so you can better follow threads that occur in Twitter.  It works incredibly well and is being enhanced to have a better GUI.   The text shows it uses Google Social Graph

A great tool, here is a screenshot.

It is a small download and future enhancements are slated to include creating imaginary friends in FriendFeed
