WhoTheTweet – get a sample of who they are before following

WhoTheTweet analyzes the most recent tweets from a username you type in and gives you back a tag cloud, of sorts, about their topics.  This gives you a quick view into whether you should follow someone or not.

They show the last lookups across the bottom of the homepage and then there is a few places for premium tweeters, but you have to buy a slot to get on there.  Monetization ideas are everywhere I see.  I ran my name as usual and it took about a minute to get the results.  But they were right on and looked good to me.

Hi. Thanks for the few words about our idea. One minute is a bit long I can say, but we are realy dependent on twitter API overload. In good times you can get results in less than a second, sometimes it takes longer. Just wanted to add to your post the fact of a little social aspect to it. Where users can blacklist words that they think are useless in describing a person. This way users themselvs help eachother to build better and more accurate tool. Once again, thanks to all who took the time to check out our app/tool.
