ThreadedTweets allows you to do a search through Twitter and bring conversation style reading to tweet threads. Here is an example screenshot from their site first:
There is no sign up and it utilizes OAuth from Twitter to authenticate you. An excellent move in security on their part. I tested on my username (IdoNotes) and found retweets and some others I didn’t know were there in a ncie threaded way.
Whoa, ok. Once I logged in as myself it became a full web client. I had the normal menu choices for seeing replies and direct messages. But with the threading I could search in real time and there was a sliding control mechanism for the speed of the real time updating on the screen.
At the bottom of the page they show current popular threads, most were from movie stars and other actors at the time I looked.
