Music:
Non-stop. At my desk, in my car, walking to work and back to my car downtown. In the house there is a crazy zoned set-up for you home automation geeks.
I am a self-proclaimed MP3 fiend, to which I have tried rehab 4 billion times to no avail. Now what kind of music you ask? I will never tell.
I’d be interested, uberrob: how could it do anything more than this? I am trying to get more significance into it, but I really couldn’t see how it could get more without either storing your personal data or asking you for your twitter login data (which I don’t want to have).
One thing I am pondering is increasing the amount of tweets analyzed and check if there is a correlation between for example posting links and losing or getting followers. As you rightfully said though there are too many outside factors that make people follow or leave than just the tweets. This is why I don’t claim anywhere this to be science, just an indicator of what might be a cause. What people make out of it is the interesting aspect.
Posted by Chris Heilmann | January 28, 2009, 3:35 pmIt’s not terribly awesome – and it’s not doing anything really interesting statistically…which is a shame, because it could. There is zero correlation to the addition or subtraction of followers and the tweet that it flags as the plus or minus.
Put another way: there’s no correlation to the tweet you made, and the addition or subtraction of followers. It’s almost a complete coincidence that you tweet “I like cake” and you pick up two followers.
