
Using Twist, you can make a list of words and/or short phrases to compare trends on how often they are talked about in Twitter. The cool part is that the result screen is interactive and you can point with your mouse to get actual numbers. Of course private tweets and directs are not included in this.
After getting your chart you can immediately Tweet a link to it or grab code to embed it. For example here is Google Chrome and Firefox:
On the left navigation they will show the current hot lookups as well as some past ones. As I created this posting on Monday, of course a hot trend was Happy Monday.
