I use this site quite frequently to do a quick search. The quick search does great, but definitely click the link 
for the Advanced search to finely tune for what you need.
Hashtags, strings, remove words, times. It is all there for the finding. Places, dates, attitudes. You nwould be amazed how much people put in Twitter.
