Why not? You spend all that time reading a book, why not mark your pages, tell others what book you are 
reading and learn ISBN numbers at the same time.
What is cool is the amount of commands you can enter. Also while in the middle of a book, you don’t need to enter the same ISBN number over and over. It remembers your last one so you can just keep bookmarking and whatever until you go on to the next story. If you send a start message each time you have a new book it can track multiple ones at once. Nice tough for those that read many books or have a bunch of manuals.
